Well, I have a few new toys! A new mouse and an N52te gamepad...oh, World of Warcraft...I spoil myself with you so! Also, picked up a headset for raiding use. Unfortunately, the mice on the headset doesn't seem to want to respond on my mac...so I have to buy a new toy to get that one to work...in due time (my old mic is good enough for the time being). And the gamepad apparently doesn't need to have a upgrade of the firmware flashed to it if it's being used on a Mac...so that's bricked (working with sending it off for a replacement). The mouse is awesome though! A logitech G9...very nice. Also, I picked up a Sony Reader a while ago, along with a replacement for my stolen DS (got myself Chrono Trigger...and because I'm still 8 years old somewhere deep in my dark soul, I got Pokémon Platinum).
So yah! A few ups and downs with purchases...but they're working themselves out to be all positive. In the long run.
As for my job! Finally heard back from the mental health institution I applied to work at as a residential counselor (finally, that damn B.A. in Psych pays off!). After a long drawn out background check, I got a positive reply back! Going to be sorting out the schedule with my new boss on Monday. I'm really excited.
Some things I'm also excited about:
1. Possibly going to Florida to see friends and go to my first anime con with them (they've been to at least a dozen...if not more). They've been wanting me to join them for one since shortly after I left to study in Montana, some 6 years ago...but timing was always piss poor.
2. I hit 80 on my DK. I'm hoping my application gets accepted to join the guild Heresy on Drak'thul..I haven't had time to play end-game content since Black Wing Lair and AQ40 were still considered somewhat challenging...
3. I finally found that there are indeed translations of David Eddings' books in Japanese! So now I can study and relive my favorite moments out of one of my favorite fantasy authors books.
Things I'm not so excited about:
1. Having to do yardwork tomorrow...maybe I'll fall ill...or into a coma...or dead. Whichever is most convincing and most effective!
Nah, just joshing...I don't hate yard work quite that much.
Well, I think this just about covers the necessities of a journal entry for this month...and last month...and the month before...and perhaps even up to two months in the future!
